To honor California educators, Civil Service Employees (CSE) Insurance Group, in partnership with San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs' Foundation, is hosting the 2012 Teachers Appreciation Event.

According to a release, they will select 125 teachers from a pool of nominations to receive $200 gift cards, which the selected teachers will use to shop tax free for classroom supplies in a special one-day shopping event 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., August 18, at the Colma Target store (5001 Junipero Serra Blvd, Colma, CA).

Nominations are open now through August 12 but interested parties must be present at the event on August 18 if selected. Teachers may nominate themselves or others online at cseinsurance.com/teachers by submitting contact information, school district and why they became teachers.

CSE Insurance Group and San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs' Foundation recognize that teachers dedicate their lives to shaping the future of their students. They planned this event to give back to teachers in appreciation of all that they do to enrich the lives of children and communities.
